My Birthday Wish

For my Birthday (35 today!) I would like Labour to elect a lame duck leader with no majority of support from the Labour MP's and only winning because of the undemocratic dinosaur Union vote.

Hahahahahaha.....time for something fizzy to celebrate.

I have just listened to the BBC (R4) drooling over Saint Ed. One could say it's only the second coming because St Obama got there first, but to the BBC St Ed is not second best. You have to laugh at the BBC - they don't know they're doing it.

There was also a breathless lady reporter who gushed at the other (non saintly) Ed: well, your campaign had the Tories and LibDems on the run! I nearly choked on my wafer and it certainly made my eyes run.

Happy Birthday.

It's nice to see the Labour led by somebody completing lacking in humour, guts, originality, real world experience, imagination etc. An empty vessel full of vacuum. The deep brown eyes of a shark with no teeth.

He's a complete and utter twat, frankly. At least Ballsy had a bit of an edge to him. Even Harperson had a Thatcherite sort of majesty at PMQs. etc.

Happy birthday! Kicking myself for not backing him down the bookies now!

No more baby-boomer PM's ever by the looks of it then?

All the best.

Interesting to see that none of the three party leaders has ever been in the "real world" whatever that is.
Personally, I wish him luck. We need good opposition as much as good governance.

"We need good opposition as much as good governance."
We have had neither for many years.

A belated happy birthday from me!

I will reserve judgement on Miliband, if only because I was impressed with the way he argued with an eco-extremist on Newsnight when he was the minister.

Happy birthday, CU.

I don't mean to be a political geek but it kinda just happened but I watched & heard his acceptance speech and also on Andy Marr and if I heard a tenth of it, i'd be surprised. Fantastically soporific.
