A Treat In Store

Can't wait to see the blubbering Beeb and Grauniad pundits swing into action.  There will be some cut-out-and-keep moments to savour over the next few days.

They don't like it up 'em.

Open thread.

An awful lot of damp eyes on my Facebook and Twitter feeds. The righteous are upset.

I never cease to wonder at people who think they should have a say in other nations' politics.

Absurd example: someone retweeted a disappointed tweet from the Belgian footballer who plays in England, Jan Vertongen. Does he think his views do/should carry weight to your average US voter?

It is precisely that sort of bien pensant arrogance which leads to the anti-politics mood.

Time for the smug to take stock, methinks.

BBC have been interviewing Larry Sabato fore the last few weeks and he's always maintained there will be no Brexit style voting and Clinton will win. He even put it on his web site - http://www.centerforpolitics.org/crystalball/

Wonder if they'll have him back (suits their slant even if he's wrong)?

LMAO . There will be sport to be had on Facebook. Seriously though, how can the MSM base most their material on " the latest pole says" when they're clearly not fit for purpose. They have got at least the last three elections/ referendums wrong to way beyond a rounding error.

I suppose we must expect Obama to give Hillary a presidential pardon on his way to the exit

Trump should tell O that any such pardon will be followed by four years of investigation of O.

P.S. When do the riots start?

Or does one not start a riot to which a blind eye might not be turned?

Late the party on this; but like Brexit savour the moment and see what happens. now if I'd only taken my own advice on betting for and against.

It's really unbelievable how They don't geddit.

One of the Republican elite who ran the Bush campaign told the Beeb that Trump "mustn't think he has a mandate from the people".

Umm, er, wait...

Glad to see the whole celeb favours this candidate fall dead on it's arse, i'd like to think we never see it again but that's plain stupid. Even this morning the celebs don't see their mistake, they think that because they're famous that's enough to win votes errrr no because you're famous you have the opportunity to pass a message to a greater number of people, but that message needs to actually contain reasons. Useless fuckwits.

The big celebration isn't that necessary, he's still a dickhead but the nice thing is his naivety, he'll push for things that you'd get in business but won't get in politics, somethings he'll get most he won't but he will certainly try things Hillary wouldn't have. I never saw him as a risk, the senate/house etc will always prevent him from causing a total disaster.

Certainly this helps make brexit more of a success, and we're going to need that boost, its odd how things like this are culmulative, brexit and this i think increases MLPs chances in France, it shouldn't affect it but a lesson in voter psychology has been demonstrated here

Wish i'd put more on when i had good odds back in July, still £50 will pay for a handjob, i mean errr the wife's Christmas present

So my prediction is he'll be the 2nd POTUS to resign, based on not much, simply because he has too many enemies in the republican party

According to the CNN exit poll (http://edition.cnn.com/election/results/exit-polls) Trump received 63% of the white, male vote - exactly in accord with the BBC/Guardianista narrative. However, he also received 53% of the white, female vote as well. I wonder how long it will be until the BBC reports that?

Lots of feministas are abusing white women for a lack of sisterhood and letting the side down (they had confetti cannons loaded with safe 'glass' at the abandoned coronation).

No one seems to ask how many black women voted for Hillary when she stood against Obama in the 2008 primaries, but Obama had a 9/1 advantage among black Dems who according to Salon(?) are 60% female - so she got not much more of the share of the black Dem vote than Trump did of the national black vote (8% or 12/1).

No one in the media minds black people 'voting their race', it's just verboten for whites, even as mildly as 55/45.

Here's a classic from that time - note the assumption in bold.

http://edition.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/01/21/blackwomen.voters/

Recent polls show black women are expected to make up more than a third of all Democratic voters in South Carolina's primary in five days. For these women, a unique, and most unexpected dilemma, presents itself: Should they vote their race, or should they vote their gender? No other voting bloc in the country faces this choice. Democratic analyst Jehmu Greene says, "We've all wanted the day to come where there was a black person in the White House, where there was going to be a woman in the White House. I don't think we imagined it would be having to decide one or the other." Greene says women, including herself, face pressure to vote their race. In the African-American community, there is a perception that race trumps gender, she says. Clinton supporters are seen as sellouts, Greene and others say.
