Live UK Cabinet re-shuffle!

In a non-exclusive first for C@W we are going to cover the Government re-shuffle as it happens.

However, it seems none of the Foreign Secretary, Chancellor, Home Secretary will change or the Brexit Head - so the response of our man on the scene so far is this....

Updates later...

possibly....

LIVE UPDATE 17.27: THE BBC ARE REPORTING LARRY THE CAT HAS ENTERED NO 10. IT IS A NON SHUFFLE RESHUFFLE.

Is it just me or since watching US politics, with Trump playing his games with the media/DNC, that British politics just seems so utterly boring in comparison.

I wonder how Trump would handle Brexit negotiations...

  2. My uncle puts together a better cabinet and he's an alcoholic.

  3. still no need for updates. internal party changes only - just half way through the working day so a 1970's style leisurely pace...

  4. Brokenshire was out of his depth so that's good but otherwise....tumbleweeds. It's rather petty if McGloughlin is being demoted as if to signify blame for the election campaign. I hardly think he 'masterminded' that dog's breakfast.

It's good to see Kemi Badenoch get her first job. Her maiden speech was impressive.

  6. Back when boxing was popular, they invented a new level 'light heavywight' or similar.

The difference in her crowd is not dissimilar, and with a collective strength of a tired snail on drugs, she'll just plod on. Nothing to see here folks, walk on.

Exactly what she wanted when she went to the country last year.

Best to avoid the magnificent interrogative insight from the BBC for the next few days. Probably weeks or months at 'The Turrets'.

The duller the better. My fear was that she'd upset the delicate balance between reluctant Leavers and out-and-out traitors.

  8. Mrs May has been very busy renaming all the government ministries.
    Health and social care.
    Business and housing ?
    Home office and immigration.

A reshuffle where the ministers stay put. But the departments move around.

  9. Which is cheaper on the stationery bill?

I should have thought it costs less to change the Minister!

Half expecting there to be a consolidation of all the ministries into only 4. The Ministries of Love, Peace, Plenty, and Truth

Our useless quisling automaton PM can’t even sack someone. Good grief. Isn’t it time the men in grey suits did the decent thing? What are they waiting for?

We are running out of time in the Brexit negotiations. Or rather the Brexit dictation sessions as Barnier decides all.

  12. SW - She wants the cabinet to resemble a BBC prime-time cop show. Ability is secondary.
