Unfortunately Labour haven't got any political capital to spend on upsetting their own MPs.
The Heathrow saga has already cost them dearly and there is no way they are going to pick a fight with their backbenchers, especially as a pension is the only evidence that most of them will have left that they ever worked in Parliament once they get booted out at the election.
LFaT is right. They still have to force Royal mail privatisation through. 71 Labour Mps against so far. Labour already need the Tories to force it through. Libs will mostly go against.
