I'd say just keep going, all three of you.
As I've said to others, a recent comments widget is a useful addition, but that's all, really.
I read fewer blogs than I used to but I keep C@W on the list. You have a good niche with your 'follow the money' angle. Keep it up.
Can't say more than agree with Mark Wadsworth. I seldom comment but you do get a more civilised commentariat on this blog than on others. I like the occasional versification as well. Keep it up.
I find the site interersting and rather more couth than some. However I find the name of the venture something of an oxymoron. I have known one or two but, like true socialists, they have never worked.
Kudos for your good information, and for your good-humored approach. Keep that going.
There is bad news aplenty out there, we all know that.
How about bringing us examples from time to time of success stories, people/companies/political entities who have done the right thing and are prospering?
San Diego CA, for instance, is sitting on hundreds of millions in cash reserves, no deficits, no crisis, no problem.

I enjoy reading you guys, as i see you almost as a cross between "A very British dude" and "FT Alphaville". Well at least thats how you come across to me. you seem knowledgeable about the topics you discuss, explain it in a way that i can understand. you also are able though to really dig down and brin into the discussion other areas that i wouldn't have thought of.
personally as another comment mentioned i think the "following the Money" angle is good idea. i enjoy your takes more about energy issues buts that just because its what i do for a day job.

Im one of the rare commenters, but Id like to echo Mark Wadsworth and Peter Spence - just keep going the way youve done so far. Much as I read some of the other bloggers (like Guido...) I cant be bothered to be wading through 500 comments of which many are just insults and bad language - which is why I find yours to be saner, and comments actually have something to say in a considered way....
Yep, just keep on doing what you do - I always look forward to a C@W post.

As a relative newcomer, finding the blog through one of your comments on Peston's blog back in Sept / Oct, I think you're doing a great job. "Follow the money" works for me, as does the irreverent humour...

i was first attracted by the market and economics stuff.
it does make me chuckle quite a bit though, despite most of the time you lot are highly critical of the government, which can easily turn into a partisan rant fest.
I started coming here for the business analysis and that is how I describe this site to other people, however I love the blackadder chat etc. I also find Nick’s energy posts pretty interesting too as I wouldn’t read them on other sites and find them quite interesting. I only ever dip into politics when I think I absolutely have to, but BQ reminds me of the important issues from time to time so I don’t forget that however much I dislike the stereotypical politician, it’s important that I at least pay attention.
Things I like about the site; pretty much everything you do now; regular diverse stories, apparently selective fan base (although this post disproves that), entertaining jokes I can steal and pretend I came up with.
Things I think would improve the site; pretty much only the recent comments widget, I’d like some kind of punter chat and this should easily implement that.
C@W is a fabulous blog just as it is. Cityunslicker is serious, Nick is an artist and Bill is outrageous. Love it.
