Exit Poll shock?

The Exit poll from the UK election is suggesting a Hung Parliament with the Liberal Democrats losing seats. Something does not smell right. I have had more people tell me they are voting Liberal Democrat today than Tory, the first time I have ever heard that. Only one person voting Labour (about right for the world I live in).

Let's see what happens over the next few hours.

Office poll was 50/50 for blue and yellow. No one voted red.

Lab hold Sunderland. On current BBC prediction when result is fed into the national swing..Gordon Brown is PM with 100% of the vote

The very, very odd exit poll and the indignation in places - especially Sheffield - as many people have been turned away from polling stations as the queues were that long they couldn't get in before 10pm. I understand how they feel, however they have had 15 hours to get their vote in. Something's awry already.

Is it true there's a large number of UN election observers in the UK?

Not UN Scan. But Commonwealth observers are here. The Jamaican one said she wasn't very impressed with the postal voting system!
