Can fault the Turks for using terrorism as an excuse to supress dissent - they learnt it from the West. Try pitching a tent outside Westminster Palace with some placards and see where that gets you.
Matt - sadly, as we know from very recent election results, it rather depends on who pitches the tents and what it says on them. As you say - the Turks are only copying our own lack of morality in political affairs.
