RBS staff can't wait to leave

Yes, but not those high paid investment bankers; no this time it is the workers of Ulster bank.

You gotta love stories like these, you can tell when a CEO has done too well on arguing for redundancy packages to be good when virtually everyone wants redundancy - even arguing for it and getting the union involved. The chance of a few weeks money at the expense of what must be a not-very-exciting job is just to much for these people to not jump at.
I love the bit where people are demanding re-thinks on having their redundancy application turned down. I feel their pain, as I was turned down for voluntary redundancy once and it was very annoying!
Must be great for morale...but also perhaps says people in Ulster are not that afraid of not finding a new job...

Please stop harping on about redundancy, will you? I am feeling very vulnerable at the moment, mainly due to the fact that my continued employment hangs on whether or not we sell enough toffee apples every week!

There is something I do not quite understand here, and another thing is why am I paying for all this?
