He comes very close to saying that, which of course would be incitement to racial hatred of people of the Harman genome.
Slightly less light-heartedly I am in a difficult position of wanting to defend free speech and freedom despite my hatred ofa ll things Harman; but does this mean the Church has a right not to hire homosexuals as priests?
I find it a difficult topic, on balance I lean towards not changing things for the sake of them and to unecessarly antagonise religous groups, but as usual Peter Thatchell provides a stout defence in that link.

The Catholic Church and New Labour in a single news article?
That's what I'd call a target-rich environment.
Being able to take yet another pop at Harridan Harperson is merely a bonus.

Can't see the link... :(
I have updated the link as the BBC have pulled it.
Perhaps too many people read it as I did - not the sort of propoganda the BBC want to produce
CU, it's my understanding that the equality laws specifically don't cover religion. Whether the church has a right to hire homosexuals as priests or not, they cannot be prosecuted for discriminating on grounds of sexual orientation, sex, race etc.
Ye gads ! They'll be allowing paedophiles in the priesthood next !
the new ones do Scan if the HoC gets rid of the Lords amendments.
Distraction, of the "look here not over there" type.
I thought that the problem is with the PEDO priests that have been assaulting children for the past few hundred years?
Who gives a monkey's ass if a priest is a homosexual ?
Its the PEDOs that are doing the harm
Excellent post and writing style. Bookmarked.
Great post - and v. interesting. It's a difficult one - and I agree entrirely with you - I baulk at the prospect of concurring with anything the Harmon has to say.
I do however think the church has a habit of getting it's preverbial knickers in a twist over things . . .at the end of the day who cares? Isnt 'God' supposed to lurrv everyone?
