Miliband: A Face For Radio ...

Except that - would you believe it - he's pitching himself for a Portillo-like career on the BBC.

"It is unclear whether Miliband wants to front one-off documentaries or a series of shows ..."

the Observer tells us. Additionally, and quite amazingly,

"... but it is thought all his proposals would involve him taking a starring role on screen."

No, really ? What a sarcastic bunch
they are at the Observer. I greatly fear however, that in matters of this sort, to ask is to get, and that we shall indeed have the slug-featured gargoyle thrust forward at us.

So - what do we reckon he's best suited for ? Documentaries ? a trainspotting series ? frotting Diannnne Abbbott on Thursday nights ? a foodie show - perhaps 101 Ways With Bananas ?

Your ideas in the comments.

He could star in a remake of Cain and Able.

An updated Andy Pandy? Alan as a new form of Postman Pat? Yvonne in Lapdancing For Beginners? Prescott doing a Les Dawson tribute act in drag? Jack and Tony as Bill and Ben? Gordon in a revamped Thomas The Tank Engine as a disused engine whose bust boiler houses pigeons?
