Election Night with Capitalists@Work

On election night I shall be one of the Band of Bloggers covering events for LBC between midnight and 6 am.

Tune in on 97.3 FM (London area), Sky Channel 0124, or live streaming at
www.lbc.co.uk.

And send me stories ! I'm there to cover the usual C@W content - so anything from the worlds of business, finance, investment
(but probably not TV script parodies, satirical poems ...). Put them in the comments under this post, or another post that I'll put up tomorrow, and if they are fit for the airwaves on a family show, I'll read 'em out !

Friday morning it is.

Banks on fire in Athens.
Maybe a hung parliament will be good for business. Allow everyone to completely ignore the debt problem for another year.

It will be off-election topic (but you'll needing fillers) So what happens if the Greeks actually refuse the gifts of the EU (by popular revolt)?... Markets are very nervous today, would that occurrence tip markets into a correction?

Charles Dunstone, one of Labour’s most high-profile supporters and a close friend of Tony Blair, has backed a letter warning voters of the dangers of a hung parliament.

He's Carphone warehouse who used to be very Blairite.

Spun as a Tory boost from the business world but
Duncan Bannatyne is mentioned as a signatory. He's about as likely to vote Tory as Ed Balls.

I think £ - euro is at a year high today.
Might even be a two year high!
Greece allows sterling a recovery on the back of the "we're not the worst! We're not the worst!" chant.
