Looks like Spain has dodged the bullet for 2010

With two weeks to go until Xmas and many banks and trading houses winding up their positions and cashing up ready for their final bonus calculations (oh, and shareholder/investor returns..) I can't see anything other than a light volume Santa rally continuing in the European Markets.

So Spain will live until 2011. John Major said this morning he thought Spain would survive, his belief in the power of politicians over the markets is touching, but reality will hit next year. I seem to remember his Government being the one in which Mr. Market perhaps proved otherwise!

I knew they'd be alright. They're a bit bull-ish them Spaniards.

That would be "Mr E.R.M.ajor" then?
I am sure his judgement would be very sound. Let's all go long on the Euro. Spanish bonds give nice yield right now.

I have no idea why John Major thinks he is a Tory, or why anybody else should either. He was very like Cameron is.

And so to 2011.

He was top man, Sir John Major. Low house prices, Sunday shopping, extra pub opening, got us out of ERM, economy was growing nicely.

It is a mystery to me why nobody else likes him.

As to the post itself, there is no 'bullet' to dodge. These financial 'crises' are entirely artificial and are cooked up between the big banks and the big governments (EU, IMF, whatever) as part of a power-grabbing exercise.

If you take all Irish figures for GDP, tax receipts, bank debts etc and multiply them by ten or twelve, that's exactly what the UK is.

Well, it’s amazing. The miracle has been done. Hat’s off. Well done, as we know that “hard work always pays off”, after a long struggle with sincere effort it’s done.
