Milae Robot Update

The RedRosetta project has issued photos of the Milae robot "in action" before transmissions ceased earlier today.  It is hoped these will convince a skeptical public that the project has been worthwhile.

Milae confidently exploring unfamiliar territory
Milae triangulating

Robot arm trying to prop Milae up into the upright position.

how high does he bounce?

People have always said he should go to a place where "the sun don't shine".

How we fondly remember when Robot became infected with the Kostalivinkrisis virus. Fortunately a download of the new ZeroZero virus cleaning program seems to have removed it.

Let's not fall for it.

David Cameron is every bit as awful as Ed Miliband and this is in every way a concerted campaign on an ad hominen level. In fact Cameron is more dangerous. He does a half decent impression of not being the liability that he is.

Cameron/Osborne have wrecked Britain. Worse than Brown, quite possibly. This will become apparent in the next administration whoever wins.

The Tories best strategy is "We're the least worst option - just look at the geek !"

This is a funny post. I suppose I should add a bit of humour. OK.

It's a bit rich the Con-Bot asking the Lab-Bot to rescue them during the coming by-election when they do the dirty on the Milae-Bot so slyly... but darn effectively.

This encapsulates things pretty well though. That the rift between politics and people is so disasterous that neither side (yes - side) sees each other as being human anymore. How else do they thing that they could treat us with such contempt other than they think we don't have feelings ?

Wait 'til all the Bots pass the dark side of the Moon and fine UKIP lurking - more massive than they can comprehend...

All Bot's internal wiring will fizz, crackle "DOES NOT COMPUTE... DOES NOT COMPUTE... DOES NOT..." *Pop !*

Well that was funny, wasn't it !

dearieme, I wish I'd thought of that one

"more massive than they can comprehend" - you been at the Nietzsche again, Kev?

(it seems Mili has, what with all this "what does not kill me ... ")

There are people who, instead of solving a problem, tangle it up and make it harder to solve for anyone who wants to deal with it. Whoever does not want to hit the nail on the head should be asked not to hit it at all.

If UK politicians had been in charge of the Rossetta project it would have travailed the solar system in the most convoluted fashion and returned with yet more bloody aliens.

An underprivileged population causes problems - and problems to Left-wing politicians (Tories included) are what car crashes are to no-win no-fee lawyers.

THEY LOVE A BIT OF IT.

Anyway... I think the Discovery is more applicable for a Miliband joke than Rosetta.

After all he's been re-launched just as many times.

Possibly Nietzsche for intellectual Ed.
Or possibly he got the whatever don't kill me from Chukka
Umunna.

Kanye West .. Stronger .. Or the 30 seconds to Mars version. Both bound to be on Chukka's 2010 iPod shuffle.

Youtube it yourselves.

I completely agree with E-K. There are no substantive differences between Tory and Labour - NONE. Which is why we see this highly unpleasant nasty personal vilification. I am so pissed off at this I am tempted to vote for the poor sap. He at least might put a few fucking banksters in jail. No danger of the Tories doing that, eh? They're all up to their snouts in the city trough.

Electro-Kevin said...

Travailed ?

Travelled, of course.

Thanks, SW. It is unpleasant and rather highlights the paucity of alternative policy than anything else.

John Major says UKIP has nothing positive to say and that it is anti everything.

Well it's not anti-countryside, anti-grammar school, anti-getting on with the rest of the world outside the EU sniff-each-other's-farts cluster-fuck.

And who are the Tories to talk ? This Miliband vilification really IS nasty stuff. As well as that of UKIP.

And their still doing the smutty stuff (hark at me !) "A notch on Farage's bed post"

to add to

"Go to bed with Farage"

"Farage likes a finger up his bottom"

"Ukippers shag vacuum cleaners"

"Ukippers are nutters" (again hark at me)

"Ukippers are racists"

Ukip nasty ? Oh puh-lease !

no worries, SW, we are equal-opportunity slaggers-off here (never had much time for Osborne meself) - and our comments threads are models of politeness and moderation

everyone will cop something in the run-up to the election, no doubt

(not sure how that will influence your vote ...)

This site is indeed equal opportunities when it comes to slagging off, which I appreciate. And as a bonus the slagging off is motivated by an actual philosophical viewpoint! What's not to like?

I was thinking of the dead tree press who reserve their nastiness for Milliband. Cameron gets a free pass, even from the Guardian, for reasons that escape my understanding. It's as though on the one hand all the rich bastards who own the papers know Cameron won't touch their non-dom fortunes - whereas Milliband just might - and on t'other the cultural Marxists at the Guardian see a common purpose drone who isn't going to derail their poofs and foreigners agenda.

SW, Cameron is PM. The press normally are careful with the PM.

PLUS, more importnantly, Cameron is sympathetic to us having a free ish press. Perhaps too free some would say. Labour are anti-free press. This does not work out so well for them when it comes to engaging with the media.

Tony Blair should be rolling in his grave at the thought it.

Nick - This site offers a higher quality of slagging off and it is, indeed, equal opportunities lampooning.

If it were the supermarket of lampoonery/slagging it would be Waitrose. I am well aware that I bring the level down a bit but even Waitrose has to be open to the town skanks who come in a bit disheveled and tipsy and have a penchant for a fine, yet affordable, sherry.

I know you'll give me one of those green disc thingies on the way out rather than a discount voucher and in seven years I've never had a 'bogoff' from you.

Appreciated.

You just can't beat the quality here either !

Apropos going careful with the PM... I recall how they all shat over Major from start to finish. And he was nowhere near as bad as the present shower.
